operasteersmid terms are soon but i have to get it out: the matrix??? oh my fucking god that, my dears, is ROMANCE
laurence fishburne you are always beautiful in all your roles, keanu i, for the fucking life of me, can never identify you without facial hair, BUT, MAIN POINT: we got assigned the matrix this week (along with dance, girl, dance! another super romance god i loved it) and..... oh where do i even start.... just waxing codes out there???? the ot3 of trinity/morpheus/neo??? THE SMITH/MORPHEUS BURNING IN THE BACK? and i think his name was cypher or cyril, but the mr worldwide/morpheus????
god there is just.... so much to dissect from the film (both for class and my ship needs god i absolutely Have to find the neo/morpheus djs that exist out there, i know they Exist)
i'm curious about the other two in the trilogy (and looks like there was even a fourth one that released not too long ago?) but.... god the way morpheus just believes in neo..... oouroegheorg it hurt me in the same way ryan gosling does in blade runner 2049.... god....
i will simmer with these thoughts.... simmer so much
also, shout out to the fight scene in dance, girl, dance, because women should absolutely be allowed to get into brawls as a release of their built up sexual tension (lucille ball is so pretty.... i love lucy i will add you to my growing list of culture i must interact with, yes)
