entering a scholarly sort of scene
the second week of classes have started, and thankfully, all's been going good so far—well, except for when i got heat stroke on the first day BUT other than that all has been well, yes :v! i'm really excited for my classes this semester, a bit nervous since they're all largely writing intensive, but the topics interest me so hopefully that will help curb some of my procrastination habits and also help me manage writer's block/letting perfectionism stop me from working on stuff
though, i won't lie, i miss my old film professor... like i like this one so far, but i just absolutely adored my old one...
last week i went to see coraline in 3D with my mom and sister and it was really nice (minus a few... setbacks and issues regarding some Other stuff) it was my first time seeing a stop motion film in theaters, and i teared up looking at all the details, cause that's honestly what i really love about film, how it's essentially a huge team project that everyone tries to put their best into (ideally, cause, oof, there are some Horror stories with production stuff out there)
currently working on my next felt project that is ~top secret~ but very excited to finish it and present it to the friend that it's meant for ^^
now for the real issue at hand... trying to repair all the furniture that's suffered machete's teething (he still teeth's a bit but hopefully... Hopefully that phase ends soon... that or the weather stops boiling us that way I can take the boys walking at the parks again)
